About this structure
VaultBarrier is built around preservation. A foil-bearing laminate creates a near-total block against light, oxygen and moisture, which matters most for freeze-dried raw, air-dried diets and omega-rich formulas where oxidation shortens shelf life and dulls palatability. The metallized face reads as protective on shelf, while a matte varnish panel keeps claim copy legible without glare. The bottom gusset supports 2 lb fills, and the tear notch sits above the zipper for a clean first open. In the rebuilt 36-SKU green matrix this product is re-homed to parameter family KP-ECO-004 - Bio-Based Mono-PE Valve Pouch for Raw and Freeze-Dried Food - on the basis of structure-first match: high-barrier pouch for freeze-dried raw and high-fat fills; the valve is the family closure but is optional here. The family design direction is: Use a plant-based PE direction for the film and sealant so the structure stays in one polymer family; keep the valve as the only non-film component and specify it in a compatible material; water-based inks; solvent-free lamination; and avoid foil and metallised coatings that would rule the pack out of a film recovery route.
